I'm not going to lie to you it's not the best barbecue in the area, but if you're looking for something quick and your hungry for some barbecue Id swing by. The macaroni is pretty good, and the sandwiches are not bad

I am improving my star rating to 4. They have gotten better servers. The food is coming out faster and is at a warmer temp. Hope it keeps going in this direction.

I love voodoo BBQ but this was my first time at this location. It had some ups and downs. First out food came our pretty quick, I was pleased about that. I always get the pulled pork and it was not warm/hot. More like barley warm and didn't taste very fresh. My husband got the brisket and it was warm and his beans hot. Also we did not get our toast (love the toast) we got breadsticks. The place seemed fairly clean but they need to find some better method around the soda machine. I used the women's restroom it was fairly clean( apart from the dirty mop pieces on the floor), but they had just opened and had an awful smell.

In the area for the week and thought I would give this place a try. Sadly, I would have rather eaten roadkill. For what you got, this place was expensive! The food had no taste, regardless of how much sauce I put on the meat. We were there around 6pm and they had no ribs? Sad....avoid this place at all costs!

Another bad service. They didn't even put my order of ribs on the order. Un Knowledgeable staff running the counter and then when I went back to get my ribs. She tried to charge me! Never going back! I told the lady I was yelping them, she laughed at me and started to yell at me as I was walking out. Very unprofessional! No manager called to counter. Such Crap! 51.65 for this.

I asked for the jerk chicken, i was surprised to see sliced (almost deli-like) plain chicken, with a jerk-like sauce. Nothing was great, but it wasn't bad either. I was hypnotized however, by the onion ring they gave the customer next to me...it was Gigantic, structurally sound, crisp, abnormally big.

I tried voodoo BBQ for the first time today. I had the brisket sandwich with corn pudding. My meal tasted pretty good. I thought the corn needed more flavor cause it was a little bland. Overall I would try again. I think I'll try the ribs next

I really love this place. The first time I ever went to VooDoo was to the Express one in the mall food court, so since I live in Walker I frequently take advantage of the To-Go aspect and call in orders in advance. They have a pick up window, the food is always fresh and tasty, and I think you get a lot for what you pay. I usually get the Brisket sandwich, which provides so much meat that you definitely can't fit it all on the sandwich, and the Corn Pudding, Potato Salad, and Macaroni and Cheese are all very good! I do understand where some people say that the sides are a little bit small, but if you get the Corn Pudding that is not the case, for some reason. Overall my husband and I actually crave this place!

I actually thought I was reviewing this one the last time I was in, but ended up reviewing the one on Drusilla Lane. Whoopsie doo. So, I really like this place. Though I do laugh a little at how many things in Louisiana can be labeled "New Orleans-style" (pretty sure I saw New Orleans-style fireworks earlier), this "New Orleans-style BBQ" is pretty dang good. Good meats, great sauces (several BBQ sauces to choose from - go sweet or spicy!) and some of the best fries I've had in awhile. There's a good selection of sides, as well as beers and mixed drinks. We like this place specifically because it's an easy place to meet up with other groups to eat. You pay up front, so there's no awkward splitting of the check, but everyone can just pull up a chair and have a good time. Denham Springs just gets better lately... though I'm not sure how I feel about the 'Beef Jerky Outlet' in the same strip center - are we talking irregular jerky? Another conversation, another time... for now, eat at this place. It's good, and I'm from Texas, so I would like to think I know decent BBQ.
